Why Farmers Should Invest In Multilayer Plastic / Greenpro
A plastic-based Agricultural system provides an effective solution for crop growing. In arid regions, plastic irrigation and agriculture practice can reduce the cost by one to two-third and improve the yield. The various plastic materials differ in their mechanical properties and in their radiometric characteristics, and the presence of additive compounds in their chemical composition ensures the material to have thermal, anti-fog, or anti-drop characteristics. The covering materials determine significant microclimatic variations within the protected space, by reducing conductive, convective, and radiant losses of energy.
The continuous innovation of polymeric technology and manufactured plastic helps to explain the emergence of protective agriculture since 1950, plastic production has increased on an average of almost 10% every year on a global basis. The world consumption of plastics in agriculture amounts yearly to 6.5 million tons. An extensive and steadily expanding use of plastic films in agriculture and particularly in protected horticulture is reported worldwide since the middle of the twentieth century. In our country green revolution has started with hybrid seeds, pesticides, fertilizers, resulting in better yield but it costs our soil. The fertility of most Indian agriculture areas was reduced due to the high use of chemicals, which saw a major downfall in yield in recent years. On another hand, a plastic agricultural environment can improve the yield without harming the soil productivity (source: ICAR).
India is a multi-crop region. The practice of different fruits, vegetables, cash crops, flower production can improve the earning of the farmers. Peaches, Grapes, Cherries, strawberries can be done in a plastic agriculture environment but the selection of the material is important. A farmer should know the utility of multilayer plastic before opting for the plastic agriculture or protective agriculture method. GreenPro has offered the farmers seven-layer plastic films which improve the thermal condition inside the greenhouse and also improve the structural strength. Through mulching, farmers can reduce the weed, contain the soil moisture. GreenPro introduced its mulch films by maintaining international standards. The person, who is looking forward to implementing progressive agriculture methods, should depend upon Greenpro as it is Asia’s first seven-layer plastic product. The plastic materials can be contaminated by agrochemicals, so we have introduced chemical resistance films, which can defend themselves up to 2000ppm chemicals and 200ppm chlorine. Anti-drop, the anti-fog additive is also improved the Greenpro materials, as GreenPro became the only brand of sustainable agriculture in India.
